Event Recap: 2019 Clays For A Cause

Updated: May 24, 2019

We had an incredible turn-out for our first annual Clay for a Cause Event on January 18th, 2019! We got to spend a beautiful day at Tampa Sporting Clays and meet many new friends, all in support of our veterans and service members. Clays for a Cause 2019 raised a total of $7,500.00! Each purposeful organization we supported: Stay in Step, K9’s for Warriors, and Wounded Warrior Project will be receiving a donation of $2,500.

We will be making this an annual event and look forward to seeing you all there next year. With your support, we can continue to help these outstanding organizations. Thank you all again for making this special day such a success!

Many thanks to:

1. Our Sponsors: Planar, Extron, Trace Systems, Crestron, FedData, ThinkLogical and Rustic Steel Creations

2. Raffle prize donors: The Press Box Sports Emporium, Shoot Straight, Planar, Rustic Steel Creations, Tampa Bay Lightning, Mint Hair Lounge, Tampa Magazines, JBL by Harman

3. Individual monetary donors

4. Our attendees who participated in the raffle. All money raised in the raffle went to the charities.

5. The exceptional individuals from each charity who delivered inspirational and moving presentations to the audience.

We encourage you to continue to support our service members, veterans and these organizations. Links to the group’s donation pages are below:

About K9’s For Warriors: K9s For Warriors is dedicated to providing service canines to our Warriors suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and/or Military Sexual Trauma as a result of military service post-9/11. Our goal is to empower them to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. We are the nation's largest provider of service dogs for disabled American veterans.

About Wounded Warrior Project: Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001.
