Engineering Data Analyst

Description: 

C3EL is experiencing significant growth in our audio-visual design and architecture practice and is seeking to add a full-time, Engineering Analyst to provide administrative support to the design team.  

Responsibilities include the development and management of materials lists under the guidance of the Engineering Manager. This work entails working directly with the engineers in reviewing designs to develop lists of materials, including managing additions and changes. The primary focus is preparing accurate lists of materials for submission to procurement

 

Daily work:

  • Attends all project meetings capture detailed meeting minutes.  

  • Supports the Team lead with accounting and complex excel documents.

  • Manages labor burn sheets and timecard administration.

  • Prepares briefs and reports at the direction of the team lead. 

  • Produce and manage large materials and equipment requests for quotes.

  • Develop and maintain vendor relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or other relevant fields.

  • 0-3 year engineering administration.

  • Strong MS Excel skills, and ability to read technical designs.

  • Technical writing skills.

  • Accounting skills and experience are a plus.

You will perform as a member of a small team led by a Senior Engineer developing complex materials lists to accompany audio-visual systems designs in support of US military advanced communications and technology facilities worldwide. Some travel in support of client meetings and site surveys may be required but not mandatory.

The work location is the C3EL Tampa FL office.
