AV System Design Engineer

C3EL is seeking candidates for a AV System Design Engineer position to support a dynamic Video Conferencing (VTC) and Audiovisual support tram providing all facets of customer service including designing, installing, programming, maintaining, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the VTC and briefing support facilities as well as general audiovisual throughout the office
Primary Responsibilities:

Support ~170 AV/VTC studios, conference rooms, digital signage, desktop VTCs, operations centers across Scott AFB, IL, ~14 NIPRNet/SIPRNet studios are located at Norfolk, VA and 1 SIPRNet VTC suite located in Washington, D.C.

Develop, Update and Track Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO's), Conference Room Operational Guides and quick start manuals.

Coordinate and conduct site surveys on installations and changes of existing or proposed audiovisual systems.

Coordinate with the government Spectrum CATV point of contact for hardware replacements and Spectrum services for system outages.

Design, Develop, and Track all associated System Design Packages outlining A/V control, video, audio, equipment and room elevations, and networking schematics that are to be submitted to the government for review and approval within MS Project.

Schedule installation and maintenance efforts for the audiovisual installation and maintenance technicians.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of related experience.

Avixa (Infocomm) CTS-D Certification
-
Must be able to provide on-call support as requested with two a (2) hour response time - this may be extended to 24x7 during real-world events, contingencies, exercises, or as required

Significant experience developing audiovisual and VTC system designs, drawings, documentation, and schematics in complex multi-security level environments

Experience with audiovisual and VTC systems in both ISDN and IP based environments

Proficient in Microsoft Office with specialization in Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, d MS Project

Working knowledge and proficiency with Visio for the development of 2D and 3D drawings for system schematics and mechanical layouts of equipment

Knowledge and proficiency with Clear One, Bi-Amp, and digital processors layout and configuration
Active Security Clearance Required; DOD Secret security clearance
